Obituary of Jackie A. Paribello

Former Mt Vernon, NY resident Jackie A. Paribello, 79, died Dec 30, 2019 at his home in Aurora, Illinois. Jackie was born April 2, 1940 in Mt Vernon, NY to Andrew F. Paribello and Dominica Valentino. Jack lived on 10th Ave in Mt Vernon, attended Sacred Heart School class of 1956, Mt Vernon High School Class of 1969 and was a volunteer fireman in Mt Vernon from 1959-1971. In 1971, he married Stella DeMasi of New Rochelle, NY and moved to New Milford, CT where he spent most of his life raising a family. Jack worked most of his career as a realtor/broker for Century 21, Security Officer and Bus Driver for the HART Bus Co in Danbury CT, before retiring in 2012 at age 72. In 2014, he moved to Aurora, IL to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Jack was a hard worker dedicated to providing all he could for his family, he was a proud father, grandfather and of course, always was a jokester. He enjoyed pulling your strings and getting a good laugh, he enjoyed bowling, watching golf, collecting model fire trucks and rare coins and playing poker with his friends. Jack is survived by his son Michael Paribello of Aurora, IL, wife Amy, grandchildren Loryn (15) and Lia (11) and his daughter Donna Tipton of Naperville, IL, husband David and grandchildren Brett (16) and Ella (13). Services will be held at New Rochelle Funeral Home on Sun 1/5 from 4-6pm and Mon 1/6 from 9:30-10:30am, followed by a burial service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle, NY.
